Dining: Family Friendly Restaurants Frommer

Café Roma -- This informal place is a family favorite with the best pizza on the island.

Miss Lucy's -- There is no better place in St. John to introduce your child to West Indian cookery than this restaurant. It's fun, it's local, and families enjoy it, often ordering a big paella that all members can feast on. The fish is among the best on the island.

Mongoose Restaurant/North Shore Deli -- The best choice for children if you're visiting Cruz Bay. The well-stuffed sandwiches and island fish cakes are perennial favorites.

Polli's -- When your kids demand a Tex-Mex fix, take them here to feast on fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, and some good smoked barbecue.

Rumbalaya Bar & Restaurant -- At night this place is more of an adult stomping ground, but families often occupy the tables during the day, feasting on juicy burgers and sandwiches.
